Remember our leaf pile?

What a joke. Now THIS is a leaf pile, courtesy of our neighbor Keith. Poor guy! But the kids had a blast!

See that rim of blue? They drug the little trampoline outside to give themselves a launch pad. :) Clever little people!

This is our yard when the yard guys came by on Thursday.

I am GRATEFUL for lawn guys. This took them SIX hours. There were four of them. They had machinery, and leaf blowers, and FOUR people. Six hours. Good lord.

Now you know why I said "Poor Keith". He did his all by himself. And then children came.

Thank goodness for lawn guys. OMG. People should learn to not plant so many trees in their yards. I'll bet you stop complaining about all the "litter" from your mesquite though!

Holy Cannoli, four hours! Your yard looks beautiful though. I love trees. It also looks like it provided lots of fun for your cuties.

"People should learn to not plant so many trees in their yards." Um... Katie, what part of we live in the woods didn't you understand? We have forest preserves north and south of us. Its the opposite as young families move in they are clearing out the trees.... doesn't make any sense to me.

Leaves are so much fun to play in! Trees are nice- even though it can be a pain to rake their leaves! When I used to do telephone surveys, we actually did a survey asking people about their opinions on trees. Some of the questions were funny- like "Trees should not be planted because they leave sap and sticky stuff on cars and the ground."

LOL! Yeah, lets not plant trees, they mess up my paint job! Awesome!

well, at least your kids will have lots of fun memories of leaves in the fall! Especially since I don't think the mesquite leaves would have the same effect!
there is NO WAY I would have that much lawn and trees without lawn service! That would drive me absolutely nuts....

Sheesh, I was kidding about the trees. Apparently I'm not the only tree hugger in this family.....
